Set Designer

Tanya is a Los Angeles based set designer. A core member of the award winning ensemble Campo Santo for the past eight years, Tanya has been a part of their intimate New Work Process, conceptualizing and designing sets alongside the writing process. Her design collaborations include the world premieres of Alleluia written by Luis Alfaro and directed by Jonathan Moscone, PLACAS written by Paul Flores and directed by Michael John Garcés, and Spiritrials by Dahlak Brathwaite directed by Marc Bamuthi Joseph. Recent work includes SAPO written and performed by Culture Clash at the Getty Villa Theatre Lab, Nogales: Storytellers in Cartel Country written by Richard Montoya and performed at Borderlands theatre in Tucson, Arizona and The Magic Theatre in San Francisco.  Tanya received her MFA in Scenic Design from California Institute of the Arts and is the 2016 recipient of the Princess Grace Fabergé Theatre Award.
